Valerie Marteau - senior vice president My enthusiasm for brainstorming imaginative ideas for fundraising events and the excitement I get from being involved with the Arts and art acquisition process keeps me a Contempo fan. My background is in film design and events, plus I'm drawn towards indulgent passions which embrace travel, French culture, sailing, cheese and wine.

Renee Siros - vice president I have been working in the jewellery industry. I joined Contempo to be more involved in art and to work on and bring fresh ideas to art events held by Contempo.

Michelle Cottrell - secretary I am an art enthusiast and enjoy working with other volunteers to pull off fabulous functions.

Anita Prabhu - treasurer Anita is a hobby artist and owns an online contemporary Indian art gallery. She is also Sales Director at AGSM Executive Programs. Anita is passionate about travel and art and looks forward to contributing to the Contempo Committee through active participation, working on new ideas for events and fundraising to grow membership, provide members with exceptional value and raise funds for acquisitions.

Ooma Khurana - joint volunteer coordinator I am an art enthusiast and enjoy working with other volunteers to pull off fabulous functions.

 

Prudence McKiernan - joint volunteer coordinator I am currently studying a double degree in Art Theory and Philosophy at UNSW and I hope to go to a career withiun the arts sector. My passion for art and the Art Gallery of New South Wales is what drives my involvement with the Contempo group. I look forward to working creatively with other volunteers and committee members to ensure the ongoing success of Contempo events.

Alison McDonald I enjoy volunteering at Contempo events and I am looking forward to helping make these events even better and expanding the Contempo membership.

Gemma Ward I am studying education at the College of Fine Arts UNSW and look forward to combining my passion for history and art with my experience in administration and events as a contributing member of the committe this year. As an active volunteer for Contempo, I look forward to the exciting events of 2011.

Leona Ng I look forward to a fun, exciting and insightful year on the Contempo Committee, by being involved with the areas of fundraising and events management. I would like to look for innovative ways to introduce the wonderful world of art to a wider audience through Contempo. I look forward to learning the ropes from my fellow committee members and having a deeper appreciation of art.

Lynleigh McPherson Lynleigh combines her degree in design, styling and event management with her passion to create unique and original concepts for Belinda Franks in Sydney. Lynleigh looks forward to working with committee members this year in producing successful and exciting events.

Lynn McColl I’m an art enthusiast committed to creating innovative, experimental and unconventional new programs to excite, educate and amuse our fast growing Contempo membership and have served on the committee for five years. My background is in the arts, media and events and amongst other work commitments I’m currently creating events for the Chinese Garden of Friendship for the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority.

Lynn Oxford As an art enthusiast I've thoroughly enjoyed being a Contempo Volunteer and now look forward to getting more involved at a deeper level. I love the excitement of the creative process, the hands-on involvement in 'making it happen', then seeing amazing, fun, memorable events realised knowing that whilst everybody is having a great time, valuable funds are being raised for new, exciting contemporary art acquisitions. Passionate about street art, adventure, photography and good food.
